I was Board President of a 18 story, 204 unit condominium in Hallandale Beach, FL for three consecutive years.  I met Thomas Cheever while the Building was looking for a structural engineer to do our concrete restoration project.  After interviewing numerous engineers that did not impress myself or the BOD, Thomas was a breath of fresh air.  He actually listened to the needs of the building, and the conservative approach the BOD wished to proceed with.  After Thomas’s inspection of the building, he came up with a solid plan which was consecutive, while still addressing what repairs needed to be done to maintain the building’s safety.  What completely impressed me most about Thomas was that his opinions and recommendations did not sway.  Everything he
said that was needed to be done at the end of the inspection, was exactly what was done upon completion of the project.  His prices are very competitive, and change orders throughout the project were minimum.  I would highly recommend Thomas Cheever to any building who is seeking a structural engineer.  You will not be disappointed.
